Mind you, if a hairdryer is fixed in the bathroom or dresser drawer, they tend to those asthmatic things that are of little use for drying anything but your eye brows Although the clerk can usually tell what I want if I show up at the reception desk with wet hair!
It worked great--and I am very fussy when it comes to hotel dryers. It was ready to go--wires routed thru a hole near mirror and plugged in. But you could unplug it if you needed the outlet.
