Here is a list of surfaces which should not be treated with vinegar: Hardwood floors — due to its acidic nature, vinegar can damage hardwood floor finishes, causing them to look dingy. Can you mix vinegar with other cleaners? Can I add hydrogen peroxide to Fabuloso? Fabuloso by itself is only safe by the most lenient standards. If you want a multi purpose cleaner look into apple cider vinegar. If cleaning products like Fabuloso are ingested, they could cause an upset stomach or a burning sensation in your esophagus.

Usually a sprig is suggested, rather than the dried herb, when the recipe requires that it be removed from the dish at some point. The dried herb can't be removed, of course, so leaving it in the dish will give the final dish a stronger flavor.
